The Benefits of dealing with a SAAR Member

  • Membership in SAAR is a strong indication that the auto repairer is a professional - dedicated to the business of automotive repair, suppliers or training. Membership in SAAR is voluntary.
  • Members must agree to a code of ethics, which set out standards for fair business practices and honest dealing with customers.
  • Being a member means constant learning. Through SAAR, members can be up to date with latest technological advances, in repairs, products and materials. This is needed to ensure the customer receives the benefits from the latest developments.
  • Managing a successful automotive collision repair shop or supplying the industry, also means understanding the community and how we may affect the industry and the public. Association members are informed and we meet the decision-makers face to face.
  • Consumers may also use SAAR to settle disputes that may develop between them and a SAAR member, should one arise. See the Reporting & Inquiry Form.
